Danica Cornell’s Writing Career
Inspired by her religious studies as well as her general knowledge of psychology, intellectual giftedness, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) and nanotechnology, Cornell went on to revamp an unpublished novel she had previously written. Today, Cornell is putting the finishing touches on DARK STAR I: THE ASSASSINS, which is slated to be published by Cool Geek Books in 2014.
Cornell currently resides in New York where she works as both a novelist and President of Mano Nanotechnologies, Inc. In her free time, she’s known to spend time with her friends and family – including her dachshund, Hugo. To find out more about her, please visit: http://www.danicacornell.com/bio.html
DARK STAR I The Assassins
Publication Date: 2014
Genre: Science fiction/ Fantasy
Danica’s life is filled with family, a beloved dog, reading and movie-theater buttered popcorn! So when does this busy lady have time to write? She manages to work on her craft six or even seven days a week – after she and her dog, Hugo, have gone for their morning walk. If he’s not tired he tries to entertain her while she writes and it makes her a little less… productive. Her inspiration for her novel came from her studies of the Jewish religion and culture and her work in nanotechnology. Danica also holds a BA in psychology. Her goal is to entertain her readers but also to get society thinking about where we are going with technology as we move into the future.
