Leeland ArtraAbout Leeland: Leeland lives in the Emerald City (Seattle, Washington) with his wonderful wife and seriously idea-inspiring kids. The first half of his life was “wasted” (as his mother said once) being an avid science-fiction/fantasy reader. To earn money he works as a software engineer. However, he prefers to play RPGs and spin stories. It took him twenty years of thinking he should publish before he finally got serious in 2012. Writing is a great way to get away with dreaming all day. He hopes to eventually make writing his primary job. For now there is reality, so he works as a software engineer (which he likes referring to as being a code janitor) for Expedia. In short, by day he helps people take fabulous vacations, and at night he helps people take even more fantastic trips of the imagination. Helping people have happier lives appeals to the Dagger in his soul. The symmetry of his work appeals to the Navy-trained computer scientist in him.

She attended Flinders University in Adelaide, South Australia, where she studied for a Bachelor of Science (Chem), and also picked up a Diploma in Project Management while working for the South Australian Department of Justice.

In her spare time, she likes to lay on the couch and watch TV, garden, draw, read, and tell ALL her family what wonderful human beings they are.

About Kathrine: I was having a hard time finding good entertainment that wasn’t filled with sex, violence, and/or bad language. I don’t believe an adult story has to be filled with filth to make it good so I decided to write my own. Who knew I could write a full length novel? Who knew I could write several?
I love science fiction and I love a good romance so of course my first book had to be filled with both. I can’t resist a tall, dark and handsome logical alien. Now I have created two of them to pine over and I’m thrilled that I can share my aliens and my stories with you. I hope you enjoy them half as much as I enjoyed writing them.

I’m looking forward to many more stories to come.

Sara LunardiAbout Sara: Sara was born and raised in the beautiful seaside town of Genoa, Italy, where she studied for a degree in Modern Language and Journalism, specializing in psychology and sociology.

After spending a few years in Switzerland, she moved permanently to London, a city that she has made her home and which provides the setting for much of her writing.

Sara works as manager of wellness and beauty centres, and as beauty consultant for prestigious brands of cosmetics. She also loves fashion and art, areas closely connected with the world of aesthetics.

Sara has always been a hungry reader and consumer of books of all kinds, and she fell in love with the fantasy genre after a chance reading of the timeless classic ‘The Lord of the Rings’.

Her true passion, however, is still writing. Sara began writing at school, producing essays, term papers on the humanities and newspaper articles. She then continued with more technical writings in the fields of aesthetics and cosmetology, also taking care of the school programme for beautician internships. However, the idea of writing ‘a real novel’ has always been on her mind.

‘Ecliptic Saga’ is her true debut. It’s a Fantasy/Sci-Fi saga for young and adult readers.

About Greg: Greg Spry has immersed himself in science fiction since he was old enough to obliterate Lego star ships with Lincoln Log photon torpedoes. He writes fast-paced yet thought-provoking science fiction with thoughtful, tortured characters caught up in ethical dilemmas where the fate of the universe hangs in the balance. He’s a forward-thinking person who always has an eye on the future, although he yearns for the good old days when there were nine planets in the Solar System (props to you, Pluto).

Since graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2001, Greg has worked in the IT and computer programming industry. During that time, he’s learned web design, search engine marketing, entrepreneurship, and other skills which help aid him in developing his author platform. He’s also participated in multiple writing and critique groups, honing his craft while helping others to do the same. An M.S. Wendy Van CampAbout Wendy: Wendy Van Camp is the author behind the blog “No Wasted Ink”. It features reviews of science fiction and fantasy novels, interviews with sci-fi and fantasy authors, her scifaiku poetry and illustrations, and articles about the craft of writing.

Wendy has published memoir short stories, scifaiku poetry, and science fiction short stories. She is a volunteer coordinator for Nanowrimo. Her main genres are science fiction and fantasy, but she also writes a little historical fiction.

Her regency series is a variation on Jane Austen’s novel “Persuasion”, using characters from the original book, but taking the plot on a new spin. It will be composed of four volumes. “The Curate’s Brother” is the first of the series, but the novelette can also be considered a prequel to Jane Austen’s novel. It is not necessary to have read “Persuasion” to understand the events in “The Curate’s Brother”. Volume two “Christmas in Kellynch” is pending.

Wendy makes her home in Southern California with her husband and Australian Shepard. She enjoys travel, bicycling, gourmet cooking and gemology.

About Louise: I’ve had a variety of jobs, including waitress, library assistant, nurse, and police officer. I hold a BSc in Health Studies, and a PG certificate in Primary Education. The scenic west coast of Scotland is where I live with my family.

My varied life experiences were not strictly by design, but have likely given me fuel enough for the next few decades of of writing. Fortunate enough to come across some of the most amazing real life characters, there’s been good, bad, and downright ugly at times. I can say the same for many of the situations in which I’ve landed. Let’s face it, delivering a baby to an adoring couple is as far away from the reality of bagging criminals as you can get. And yet, I’ve been passionate about all the jobs I’ve done, soaked in the experiences, and blanked out the worst ones for the good of my mental health. But they are all there, happily bubbling, or festering away, to be recalled when I need them.

I didn’t set out to write Fantasy, but when I sat with my laptop to begin The Calling, It became apparent that I still believed in the Bogey Men, the Monster in the cupboard and of course, the Faeries at the bottom of our garden. Suddenly I found that I was writing a story of perhaps less than willing, but more than able ‘Real to me’ Heroes who could be found both on our doorsteps and in the realms that lie beyond.
