About Our Reviews

Here at Fantasy & Science-Fiction Network we are dedicated to reading and reviewing the very best fantasy & sci-fi books for children and adults (both young and old). Featuring interviews, the latest fantasy/sci-fi news, audio-book reviews and competitions we aim to provide fantasy/sci-fi fans around the world with a useful, interesting and informative guide to the genre.

You may note our reviews are unique in a few ways. The reviews are in-depth and carefully considered with a clear synopsis of the story without any serious spoilers. Our reviews clearly describe the content, and where any questionable (e.g. things that push the story above a general audience level ‘G’ rating). Further we break down the review into clear sections taking the quality of the book, story, characters, writing style, etc into consideration. Our reviews do not pull any punches, or gloss over problems with the books. To ensure our reviewers are able to clearly express themselves all reviews are posted without attribution to anyone else other than the FSF Network. Only our administrative staff know who did a given review. Finally all of our reviewers are professional editors or authors experienced in the science fiction and fantasy genres.

If you want to provide feedback on any review you are welcome to leave a comment. If you wish to send a private message directly to the reviewer please send an it via email to info -at- fsfnet dot com and make sure to include the review title and author (or a link to the review).

If you would like to help us to read and review these fantastic books then please get in touch with us.

At this time we are not accepting author requests for reviews. Our reviewers have their own to-read lists and are providing reviews on books they find exceptional in various ways.

ARK by Mark Dunstan

ARC by Mark Dunstan

Summary The Ark has taken this reader on a superb journey of discovery into a futuristic world that has survived the near obliteration of its nature, race and inherent humanity.  Although it appears primitive at first glance, there are segments of society that embellish and enhance life and technology, others just merely survive.
